Philosophy
The philosophy of the staff at Families First Choice, Inc., related to the personal care of individuals with mental retardation is based upon a commitment that persons with developmental disabilities should live in a manner which replicates as closely as possible the least restrictive setting in the community.
The action steps related to implementation of this philosophy involves identification of individuals in need, evaluation of their needs, programming based upon that assessment, and then implementation of quality programs such that the individuals achieve their ultimate potential.
